Binchotan Jomaru charcoal from Laos - 1kg
Binchotan Jomaru Charcoal has been crafted by The Lau Company using traditional Japanese binchotan methods. This larger diameter premium charcoal has been made from sustainably harvested Laotian hardwood and carbonised slowly in clay kilns, to deliver long-lasting, high heat with minimal smoke and no unwanted flavours.
The Jomaru style refers to its larger size, round shape and cut ends, with each piece measuring approximately 3.5–4.5 cm in diameter and 20–28 cm in length. These solid, dense sticks offer an extended burn time and are ideal for larger grills, open-flame cooking and commercial setups, as well as serious home grilling.
Used in Japan for robata, yakitori and hibachi-style grilling, this Laotian Jomaru binchotan delivers excellent heat retention and low ash production.
